Biodiversity and Livelihoods - A Shared Investment in the Future. Bringing together conservation and international development professionals to improve the design, delivery, and evaluation of integrated biodiversity conservation, climate change mitigation, and rural development projects globally.
This two day event, hosted by Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and Jersey Overseas Aid, will bring together professionals from the biodiversity conservation and international development sectors to delve into the critical relationship between the two. The conference will feature expert-led presentations, interactive poster sessions showcasing innovative research and projects, and hands-on workshops aimed at building practical skills. A special half-day session will focus on financial inclusion, highlighting strategies and tools to empower local communities economically while promoting sustainable conservation practices.
